Why Briarwood? A nice sprinkling of thoughtful new construction and charming, older cottages with character have made Briarwood one of the hottest neighborhoods in town. Built on what used to be the Bluffview Dairy in the 1920s, the area boasts large trees and leafy, curved streets. Lovers Lane, once a dirt road, was changed to commercial zoning in the 60s, then back to commercial and residential in the mid-70s, so residents often walk to Lovers Lane shops and restaurants.
